The story follows 15 year old high school student, Haine Otomiya who was sold to her adopted family for 50 million yen when she was younger. Struggling with her place in life and her family issues, she turned to a life of delinquency and became a gang member until she met Shizumasa Togu, who told her to start living a true and proper life. Recognising Togu as the author of her treasured picture book given to her by her father, Haine decided to reform herself and enter the same school Togu attends, the Imperial Academy.
