Ushio Amamiya (天宮 潮; Amamiya Ushio) is a supporting character in The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross. She is the Student Council's secretary and Haine Otomiya's best friend.

Ushio is a slim and fair-skinned teenage girl of average height. She is considered very beautiful by her peers and is dubbed 'Lady Hydrangea (紫陽花の君; Ajisai no Kimi)' by the boys of the school. She has long wavy silver hair, which is usually styled with ribbons or french braids and ice blue eyes.

- The name Ushio means "tide, ebb, opportunity" (潮).
- Ushio's surname Amamiya means "heaven/heavenly, sky, imperial" (天) (ama) and "temple, shrine, palace" (宮) (miya).
